I want an HCH2 but since 2007 Civics will be out in about 6 months, thought I might wait to see what Honda will tweak/change/add for 2007.

How many months before a new model year does Honda typically announce what the changes will be?

 

Honda usually changes nothing between the first and second year after a model redesign - at least in my recent memory other than paint options. The most common changes happen after 3 years typically of a 5 year cycle and then are usually cosmetic (2004 Civic headlights, 2006 Accord body panels - trunk redesign). Honda is notorious about not giving out information before the actual release of a car too - so I'd be surprised to see any changes announced before the 07's come out (and even then I don't expect any)

The difference between the '03 and '04...the '03 had a unique front end from the other Civic, it had a different grill, headlights and bumper/airdam. The '04 got rear headrests and less chome/aluminum trim on th interior. (My Dad had an '03 when I had my '04, so I was able to compare)

It would be interesting to see if/how the '07 varies from the '06....

 

Don't expect too much of a change, all of the Civics, ESPECIALLY the hybrids, are selling like crazy. Honda would be FOOLISH to change that up....
