Yeah I only use CC on more or less flat ground now. I know on flat ground the rpms seems to stay lower than when I'm every so slightly accelerating and decelerating. But if CC is on going down a big hill it doesnt let you build up "free" momentum as much and when climbing hills as soon as you drop off just 1 mph the rpms skyrocket in a mad dash to get that lone mph back....
