Default Tint

$175, lifetime warranty from the dealership. Do you think that's a good deal? Should I go full tint in the back? Anyone here with the gold HCH have a tine, I'd like to see some pics. I really like how the clear windows look on that color.

As you may recall, I got the darkest legal tint that Texas will allow, for $189 over at First Texas Honda here in Austin. It's got a lifetime warranty. I am told by my friends at First Texas that their tinting is outsourced to Sun Tint.

You're welcome to come have a look. I live and work in north-east-central-Austin, but I've lately had a craving for Maria's Taco Express, if you catch my drift :-)

Oh... I don't have the gold HCH, but rather the dark blue one. Tinting did change its character in a positive way though. She's a beaut.

You have the baby blue HCH, don't you? Howdy Honda is giving me the $175 deal, I just don't want it to turn purple. It's too **** hot in Austin.

I have the dark blue one.

No signs of the tint turning purple.

I bet that tint looks great on the dark blue, I really like that color. My tan car will just not look as good, but I have to do it with this heat. I'll post pics when it's done. Tint #1!

Thanks for putting the effort in and posting a picture of the finished product. Now I know what my car will look like if I get it tinted like that.

BTW, is it a film or sprayed on what what? How did they apply the tint.

It's a film. The best part, I got the tint for $150 with a lifetime warranty. It took about an hour. I have more pics if you like them, the back of the car looks the best.
