Default Synpower 5W20 .99 per qt.

CheckAuto is running a deal right now where you can pick up 6 qts of Synpower 5W20 for 5.94 using coupon code 7145345. This is nothing on their website showing this. The only way you know is if you go by one of the stores and see the AD in the window. There is also a $2.50 MIR (if you can find it) where you would make $8.00 on this deal or buy an oil filter and make a few $$$$. I will see if I can find the MIR online (so for no luck) but some of the stores have the rebate form. Get out there and get the oil fast.

Good find, but isn't 0W20 recommended for the HCHII?

Is this full synthetic? I could use it in my Honda Pilot. On the first oil change for it I spent $21 on a 5-qt Mobil1 5W20 at Wal-Mart. Is CheckAuto the same as Kragen Auto in other states?

Is Mobil still making 0w-20 or is it really that difficult to find? I had a Wal-Mart that carried it and I bought just enough for my first oil change. The second one is coming up, but there are none to be had. Now I wish I had bought more. Anyone know of a place that is a reliable source for it?

I, too, looked everywhere for 0w20 and found it only at my local Honda dealer. I was braced for a nasty price gouge, but their price was within a few cents of what Wal-mart's had been (when they used to carry it). My guess is that Mobil now sells it only to Honda????

I'm not sure about WV, but here in northern CA M1 0-20 seems to be at most Wal-Marts in various ranges of $3.99 to $5.99 qt. Here, Kragen is the equivilent to Checker Auto and looking at the Kragen ad, they have a coupon for $1.00 of per qt of M1 synthetics. Some have said you can get any auto parts store to order 0-20 if they don't have it in stock.

Here in SoCal Wal-Mart had 0W20 for awhile and then it disappeared. I stopped in the other day and there it was again on the shelf next to the other grades. I'll bet Wal-Mart saw a market for it in California and brought it back. As for the rest of the country, I recently returned from the midwest and didn't see that many hybrids but did notice that Wal-Mart seemed to be getting rid of the 0W20 grade. Also, my Wal-Mart was selling 0W20 for $5.67 per quart. I keep enough at home for a couple oil changes.

I saw that thread on the 0w-20 info. Living in Charlotte, NC, we've got a Wal-Mart, Advanced Auto Parts and Auto Zone, every couple of miles. I'm sure i'll find some somewhere or at least someone who could order it for me.
