Default swamping 06 civic battery sticks with a 2012?

Hello, my 06 civic IMA light is on and i found a 2012 civic battery pack used for a very good price. Is it possible to install the pack from a 2012 on an 06? if not, is it possible to open the pack and swap the 06 sticks with a 2012?

Not possible, at least not right now, sorry. Your 2006 is the second generation Honda Civic Hybrid, the HCH2, which uses NiMH batteries. The 2012 is the HCH3, which uses Lithium batteries and has a completely different battery control module (BCM). The sticks are not compatible at all.
