Default Still can't find 0-20 Mobil One....

A bit overdue for my oil change, don't really want to spend "dealer cost" on oil. Walmart and Autozone are no-goes...

I've searched, can't seem to find any more places to look.. HELP!

Internet, www.partsamerica.com (Kragen),
they will tell you local stock for every store near you (always call however),
or ship it direct if you like.

Probably other ways to get it, hopefully cheaper than $6/qt.

Jeremy - Where do you live? I bought 2 quarts a month ago when I passed a Wal-Mart to be prepped for my oil change. They only had 2 quarts on the shelf so I cleared them out. A few weeks later I stopped at another Wal-Mart and bought them out ... only 2 quarts there also. Today I hit the motherlode though and bought 7 quarts of the 10 quarts they had on the shelf. I should be set now. 11 quarts of oil for a car that only needs 3.5 quarts each oil change every 8,000 miles.

I'd be happy to mail some to you. Today I bought them at $5.50 each and I think the first 4 quarts were $5.39 but that might have been before tax.

'Second... I picked up a case of six at Wal-Mart about two months ago when I knew I was getting close, and they told me there'd be no problem ordering more when I needed it. Also check NAPA, as they can pull in orders from their warehouse as well, though they don't usually keep it in stores.

I finally found 2 Wal Mart's with 6 qts each in the Chicago area after looking for a month. Wal mart seems to be one of the best places though it's hit and miss. I sent WM an email asking about 0W-20 and they replied that 0W-20 is not a high demand item and they do not regularly stock it. Hopefully, with more cars using it moreplaces will now stock it.

I know there are some other threads about this...but I was in the same boat. I couldn't find Mobil 1 0W-20 anywhere. I ended up buying it online at Autobarn.net. Had to have it shipped from New York (I think) but at least I got some. I believe there is a Penzoil Synthetic 0W-20 oil as well that they sell on their own website too.

Good Luck!
