Default Sound Card reader gone wild

I just bought a 6G Scandisk card for my HCHII. I loaded about 300 mp3's on it and It seems to work OK (well, the mp3's work, I couldn't get any of my wma's to play, but that's not the question here.)

However, every time I start my car now, after about 30 seconds my sound card starts playing. It doesn't matter if I have the radio set to AM, FM, or even if the radio is turned off! It just decides that I want to listen to my sound card and starts playing the most recent mp3 song. Very annoying.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas?

I guess I'll have to take the card out when I'm not using it, but that was the big appeal of it in the first place, vs. an external MP3 player.

Any help appreciated.
thanks,
kb

Mine does the same thing unfortunately. I did really notice it too much until this post. If the card comes and I don't want it to I just change the Function. Its up to you, but In my opinion, I am just going to leave it in. I don't want to wear out the mechanism on the Navi unit earlier than I have too, opening and closing it.

Wow.. this is very funny. I guess it highlights how technology oriented cars are when the two major flaws found in the HCH-II are software bugs.
