It kind of looks like a prius in my eyes. But I haven't seen to many Priuses so don't scold me if its completely different.

 

At least from those angles, I can't say I like it. The body reminds me of a Nissan, specifically the Altima.

 

the rear looks like a subaru outback sedan, but the side, roofline and wheels all mimic the prius II

 

For the lowest coefficient of drag the hood and the windshield need to form a straignt line.
This was a feature of the Prius II.

I wouldn't really say Honda is copying Toyota.
They are both just designing for lowest drag.

 

I had the same thoughts -- reminds me of the Prius.. as most aerodynamic cars will.

 

don't care for the taillights but the rest looks ok...

 

I still like the 2006 Coupe concept better.

 

I talked to my Prius salesconsultant tonight and he was indicating the '06 Prius won't be expected on the market until late fall, at the earliest.. sure, he doesn't want me to back outta my '05 wait-list, but it probably is in line with Toyota's scope. (I'll plan to sell my '05 with about 5k miles/yr and buy alternating year Hy's, e.g., '07 Prius, or whatever).
