When coupled with the Torque app on my Android phone via bluetooth, it successfully reads and resets codes and allows for custom display creation and real-time data collection. It works great on my '06 HCH2. It also works on a 1996 Ford Ranger, 2001 Olds Alero and an '09 Fit. As long as the HCH1 is ODB-II compliant, it should work for that as well.
