New tires = huge difference

Re: Question about sunroof
Brian; I did not have the sunroof installed in the 03 HCH the dealer had it done along with Custom Leather and Legal Tint 35% and then I picked it up ready for delivery.
Price on sunroof I think was $1,100 retail and a company in Nashville, Tn. did the install.
Looked perfect and worked flawless with no-leaks.
Your profile does not say where you are. Meaning what State and City?
Are you near Tenn.?

Re: New tires = huge difference
I had a high-speed blow out of my left rear in 2008 with the stock Dunlop FE tires and replaced all 4 with Michelin X Radials. The ride is better - noticably the grip and turning are much improved, and I think I can imagine a slightly softer road noise - but my mileage suffered immediately! I was pulling around 45 or so city and 50+ highway, and both sets of numbers have been about 5 mpg less ever since the tires were replaced. I will say that the low rolling-resistance tires seemed to make a huge difference.
