Not a "Word" from Dealer but I do-not look for one (Word) until they have the HCH ll in hand and all-accessories installed, plus the window-tint and Honda custom Pin-Stripes. Then I will receive a call to come pick up the car (IMO). They did not say that but I really think that is the way it will fall out because the guy that I am dealing with on the car use to be the G/M (General Manager) and therefore I don't think he will contact me before hand unless something was wrong. I am sorta glad that this has worked out the way it has because of the ever growing number of members reporting the on going problem with the FE read-out on the instruments. I hope that my HCH ll will have the newer instrument cluster installed from the factory during production so I don't have to deal with the problem after delivery. So I, in this case, don't mind the extra wait.
Another Great thing has happened while time is Marching by. I now have $10,000 Dollars more to add to my Deposit of $10,000 Dollars, so I now have a total of $20,000 Dollars to pay on the HCH ll when I do get the call. That I like because I do-not want a large monthly payment on this New ride.
So all is not bad about this wait and not to mention that I am still driving their loaner car for "Free".
Looks like this may work out just fine. All did I forget to say thanks for checking and hope you and yours had a (Very-Merry Happy New-Year).
Waiting Patiently

I take it that you will get back to us here on GreenHybrid and let us know what your 1st impressions are of your New Ride, Right?
Congrats:
Terry
BTW: You really are like the 1st to take delivery in Jan. 01, 2006
congrats to all the new 06 owners tomorrow.
Terry, that sounds really great, 20,000 down, you will be financing less than 10k. payments of what? 50/mo? a little more than 10% of mine, but I put no money down so I could do a little of this and that to get her up to speed (tint, accessories, etc.) I can always pay extra when I have it. I am impatient for you, get you out of that (gas hog) loaner car and into a something nice (and economical).
Hope everyone loves thier new cars and share thier experiences! take care all!

Tiger, as excited as I am to get it, I'm looking at the check I need to write tomorrow along with the $7,000 plumbing job I just had done and I'm thinking "What the hell am I thinking???" If my old car was still running, I would just be sitting here fantasizing about 50+ mpg tanks and sugar plum fairies, but the thing done died on me, and I need a car, so finances be ****ed!!!
Got mine today!! It is truly a wonderful January 1st!. The deal was seamless, all docs show January 1st as the purchase day. Got it for MSRP with a $49.00 doc fee with 6.0% for 72 months through my credit union. We were in and out of the dealership in about an hour....now if it would only stop raining long enough so I can take it for a longer drive!
