Default Just got mine - first impressions

Smaller steering wheel than my Pathfinder made it feel like a sports car.

Coasting & driving below the speed limit = High FE.

49.9 MPG on the way home in rainy, cold conditions, over 15 miles.

Can't even tell when the engine starts, upon starting the ignition.

Deep dashboard gives the impression of a larger car.

Love where the MPH & MPG are displayed.

Tried a little EV mode and was surprised how fast the MPH dips. I can only do it with no one behind me.

Just inflated the Dunlops to 44 PSI.

Need to hook-up my XM Radio next.

congratulations. I have been confused as to where the instant mpg reads ... this is by/under/near the speedometer? I have looked at tons of pictures and cannot tell. I am sure you will be able to get excellent mileage once it breaks in and the weather is more favorable!

What did you think of the Dunlops in the snow? IMHO they are garbage

I have a set of Nokian WRs waiting for me Monday evening. Low rolling resistance and sweet poor weather traction.

On my 05-HCH the instant fuel econ bar graph is located at the bottom of the speedometer and is always on no matter what. Also, if you want to see the current MPG's in real numbers, you will need to set the trip odometer to either A or B all the time. I leave trip B alone and let it accumulate long term mpg's and I reset trip A with each fill-up and leave it displayed all the time so I know what my instant mpg's are.

hope this helps.

Look to the left of the speedo readout - if you see a temperature gage, you need to hit the 'Display Change' button under the dash vent near your left hand (it's the button that has a gas pump icon on it). That will change the temp gage to the IMPG gage.

Haven't driven the HCH2 in the snow yet. I'll use the Pathfinder for those days

That'll work

When the dealer started going through all the features, I checked the mileage gauge and it said 16!! I zeroed it and drove home. I only got it up to 39.something doing mostly highway. I'm going to check the tire air pressure tomorrow morning. I bet it's low.

OK, I get it now - you don't own an '06.

Anyway, my instructions are good, promise!

Congrates Chris! I got my 06 mag pearl w/nav on 1/02. Great car! Let me know how you go about getting your XM. I'm curious. I would prefer sirius though, just to listen to Howard ;^)
