Default Re: Hybrid of the furture?

GM's volt will be the future of taking out the word Hybrid out of this market.

People will continue to see Hybrids as geekmobiles and treehugger USA transportation.

The way GM is demonstrating the Volt, a true eletric powered platform with gas/bio/eth/dis/ to charge the batteries when needed.

The 40 mile range will be key for most people. Adding a solar panel to trickle charge would be even better.

But definitely, the word Hybrid will soon be dropped so it can be seen as another engine choice.
