Default How It Works (HCH-II)

My apologies if this has been posted before (did not find it in a search) but I found a great video on Honda Dreamers TV that explains how the HCH-II IMA works and what the innovations are compared to the HCH-I.

Honda engineers have designed a truly remarkable engine!

Yes you are so right! I have highlighted that video several times before. It should be on the GreenHybrid site for frequent viewing. Every new or potential owner needs to understand the internal workings of this brilliant piece of engineering before they start asking naive questions about "why doesn't my car do this or that"

Thanks for the link. I had never seen that before and it was enjoyable to watch.

It really is a fantastic piece of engineering and a lot of fun to drive. I'm still on my first full tank and learning efficent hybrid driving techniques but still hitting around 45mpg so far. Hope to increase that figure even more before I make my first entry in the database.

I Agree, it should be a Sticky in the HCH section.
