Hi,

I have a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid and i would like to change my tail cover. I looked on several repair manuals already hoping that it can give me some idea on how to change the tail cover but none them gave me the answer that I need. Can anyone give me some idea

do you mean the bumper cover?

- 2 bolts by the taillights
- 2 screws on either side in the wheelwell
- 4 clips under the bumper

The sides of the cover are held in with snap fittings, just pull it out and off it comes.

Thank you for your reply but what I need to replace was the tail light cover, the red cover.

 

Inside the trunk, you will need to remove the side trunk liner, which will probably mean starting with the spare tire cover and trunk threshold.

Once you have that removed, then the tail light is held in with a few nuts, remove them and the electrical connectors and pull it out from the outside.
