I just purchased an '05 HCH this Tuesday (Aug. 30th), it was straight from the factory, built about a month ago. I have been reading about a recall to upgrade the software in the computer.

Does this effect my HCH? If so should I get a notice in the mail or should I contact the dealer? (The dealer had told me there weren't any recalls on the '05 HCH)

I've got an 05 and it has been recalled. Honda sent a letter.

Mine is an early 05, yours might be new enough that it does not need an update.
