When you mention the front plate, do you mean the front license plate holder?
If so, I've removed mine too!

Yep -- the license plate holder. The car looks a lot better without it. Of course, I also had to add my Georgia Bulldogs plate holder to the back plate.
That, and tinted windows are still all I've done so far.

I just got my HCH and the first thing I did was hard-wire an FM Broadcaster so that my iPod could be connected and I wouldn't have to worry about changing the AAA batteries in my FM Broadcaster.

I removed the whole center console which was much harder than I thought it would be. When I get the loot, I'm going to buy a converter device so that I don't lose audio quality.

Which should be changed first? The speakers or the car stereo reciever. I am planning on changing out the front door speakers then the rear, and finally the deck. Does anyone have an opinion. Should I do the deck first then the speakser?

I'd love to upgrade my speakers too.
But the only people I'd let near the wiring is the Honda dealer.
Now about speaker choice. . .
I'd be happy to pay for the finest speakers.

But, will the dealer install speakers they don't sell?
Or do they sell really fine ones?

Also, FWIW, I drove around for 16 years without front plates, which is illegal but common in California.
Suddenly I got a ticket for it.
Now I keep them on but what about drag?
Everything on the car is curved.
The plates, while small, are the first thing the air hits.
And they are flat.
I'd like to curve them.
But the holder is flat.
And, if I don't do a nice smooth curve it will look like crud.
Any ideas?

I thought putting in speakers would not require that much messing with the wiring, its more about all the panels that will be pulled off. Does anyone know what kind of work the honda dealership will do for you? My current plans for modifications are as follows.

I want to do out the interior lights in blue, to match my metallic blue car and its instrument panel. Then I want to replace the two front speakers in the doors. After that I want an XM satelite radio commander unit with fm modulator. And finally I would get a deck with a little more power and mp3 cd compatibility. I wouldnt really do anything to change the engine or the way to car drives. I want to up the quality on the stereo and add a little style. I just dont know who to go to that I can trust with my brand new car. If the honda dealership would do the work for me then thats where I would go. Any ideas?

I spent hours looking for instructions to change head units, and came across a place that has them. Just click on the manual, as if you bought from them.

As for speaker changes. I'm sure you can google for instructions.

Hi Kenny:

___In regards to your front plates, I would leave them on. Here in Illinois we have to have them on the fronts as well and I haven’t had any problem with my fuel economy as of the last 6 months

___Good Luck

Is there any law that says you can't make them curved?
