I can't believe someone went through the trouble start a website about this.

These guys need a few REAL problems in their life.

Sheesh!

I agree. That site is full of incorrect statements, too. The DRL lights on the 06 HCH are not "high beam"...they are much less strength then even low beam!!! Oh well, guess you can't please everybody.

What they write simply is untrue. The DRLs on the HCH are very dim compared to regular headlights.

Usually threads become long when people like you get so emotional over a few simple replies and then in turn end up flooding the thread with dozens of meaningless replies. J/K =) On a practical note, I guarantee that 99.99% of people could really not care less about the DRLs that are on the 06 HCH.

Also, to respond to your earlier comment, I have not run wipers in my cars in probably over 8 years bcause they scratch the windshield over time. I use Rain-X twice a month and the results are much better than if I just used wipers alone.

Actually the number of people responding to this thread indicates a liklihood that more people care than one would think.

Exactly the reason you should be given the choice of whether you turn on your wipers or not. I'm on your side, perhaps you didn't sense my sarcasm in that post.

IIRC The most letters Dear Abbey ever got was over which way the toilet paper should hang.

High response does not necessarily equate to importance.

I dunno Kenny, sounds like you read that Dear Abby thread and apparently have a real need for that type of info.

While I agree that the website linked on the previous page does missrepresent some facts about DRLs, it does raise some interesting points of discussion.
