Thanks for noticing.
I'm sure I'd hit the magical 60 by now if not for the family excursions.

Thanks, xcel!

However, I filled up at BP (where I always fill up), and
something's different. I don't know what it is. Maybe
they changed to a summer mixture.

Right now, I'm at 295 miles on the tank, at 69.2 on the dash,
AND GOING UP!! It settled at 66 when I started, and every
time I drive to work, it goes up more. I've *never* had
it this high with this many miles on the tank. If it stays there,
I'll cruise right by my 811-mile record tank, and easily outdo
my 61.1 mpg (calculated) for a tank. I'm figuring at 69.2,
and my average of the display being 8% optimistic, that's
63.6 mpg. Awesome!

I really don't know what's different. I wish I did. The only thing
is that I haven't driven on wet roads on this tank yet. Otherwise,
nothing has changed.

Hey, Wayne.

I'm in Cincinnati, on the north side. I've filled my tank with 13.67 gallons (in a 13.2 gallon tank), but I haven't pushed it farther. I don't necessarily "top off" my tank, but I do fill it as slow as possible, and squeeze a little more at the end. I don't fill it up until she can't take anymore, though.

I'm just hoping nothing changes over the next couple of weeks, and I can maintain this average. And if I could pinpoint what's different, that would be great, too.

At this time of year, I'm usually around 64.1 - 64.5 on the dash for a tank, which nets anywhere from 58.5 to 60.5 mpg calculated. This is obviously much better than that.
