Goodbye BMW 330i, hello HCH
Like others on this forum, I recently replaced my 2005 BMW 330i with a 2006 HCH. Don't get me wrong, the BMW is a sweet ride, but I just couldn't justify the cost/gas of keeping the BMW on the road especially with the amount of driving I do. The Civic and the 330i are pretty much incomparable except that they both have four wheels. And, that's not to say the BMW is necessarily better. I love the Civic and don't regret the "downgrade" at all. Plus, driving with a clear(er) conscience is a great thing.
Thanks to everyone on this forum...the info was very helpful as I did my research.

With all of the folks moving from Acura's, BMW's and the like to the Civic Hybrid, It would seem that there would be a demand for the Canadian Acura CSX here in Hybrid form. I realize that the car is mostly just an upgraded Civic, but it is still a nice ride. They could tweak the 1.3 to create a bit more power, and give up a few mpg... and get rid of the cheesy hybrid rims. Anybody with me?

Welcome to GH and HCH II ownership. Hope you have good luck with your new car. I've had loads of fun - AND feel like I'm part of the SOLUTION, not part of the PROBLEM.

Congrats on the purchase. I love my 05 HCH...it is so utilitarian. It's funny, but I look at driving differently now! I have a clearer conscience, get to work quicker (HOV lane), and don't have to shift (BMW is a manual).
I also drive a 330ci which I keep for weekends only. I find myself driving it less and less even though it's enjoyable.
Welcome to the fold...
