Perhaps a bit off track, and apologies if this is already in another thread I couldn't find, but has anyone else noticed that when getting close to the end of a tank, maybe 4 or 5 fuel bars left, the IMA recharge rate decreases significantly? It becomes hard even to keep the IMA meter at or near 2/3 full, even in conditions of traffic where it's constantly topped off. If it's a trend and not just my car, then it's certainly an argument against running a tank bone dry just to hit a numerical figure.

Michael, try turning your head lights on and see if it returns to normal.

Ooooh good idea, I'll definitely try that when this tank starts to get low. Thanks!
