The rear window defroster button is on my '09 HCH. The owner's manual shows that if this button portrays the side-view mirror, along with rear window defroster, that it's a Canadian Civic. The records I show for this car, indicate it was delivered new, to a dealer in Virgnia. Does your button also have the side-view mirror defrost depiction ?

 

It looks like you have one from Canada. All Canadian models have the mirror defrost! They are all built in Japan anyway! It is a good feature to have. H

 

I'm wondering how a Virginia Honda dealer got ahold of a Civic intended for Canada ?

BTW, aren't all Civic Hybrids built in Japan ?

We just bought an 09 HCH last week and ours has the exact same defroster button and also was bought new at a dealer in Virginia.

 

Then it sounds like the US cars have this feature. I know allot of US folks wished they had it on their 2006 +07 models. So it looks like they got their wish! H
