Clicking sound with bumps
i am at about 1300 miles on my 06 HCH and I started hearing a few brief loud clicks above the passenger side visor (but not the visor or its hardware) within the frame of the front roof. It only makes it with bumps in the road, never with turns, stops, or starts. The funny thing is I heard the exact same noise on the driver's side of my 03 Accord (which I traded in for my HCH) which my original Honda dealer never could find. A second dealer found it right away after consulting the headquarters reports of similar incidences. It seemed two pieces of metal were grating against each other and when separtated a tad never made another noise for the next 19000 miles at which point I traded it in. It seems like the same thing; I will check it out at my first dealer visit (when I have the oil change which judging by the threads here will be either at 5000, 7500, 10,000 miles or when the oil meter says 15%- no consensus on that issue!). Anyone else hear this?
I have this on my 04 HCH, but only when it's cold in the morning for the first few blocks. Once the car warms up it goes away. Mine isn't really clicking, it's more like a dull chirp, or like one of those bugs that makes a 'nuerk nuerk' sound by rubbing its wings together.
