civic hybrid with navi finally here
well i finally can say i'm the proud owner of opal silver blue metalic with navi,,It took 4 months of 3 agravating offers and cancellations and finally a dealer commited to having one built on feb 15,2006 received a vin # ending with 12001 on march 1 and it reached san diego on about march 14, transported across the usa and finally reached my dealership in south florida on march 25
Picked it up on march 26 and i'm falling in love with this vehicle more and more each day i have it. initial mpg when i picked it up with 6 miles was 13.9 and after 64 miles its stating 36.6, wife did notice at about 63 miles the mpg went down to 34.3

Oh, no! Not you too! The 63 mile bug is still alive! I hate it - not because I really care about having it work, I just hate having something on my new car that doesn't work!
Anyway, congratulations and enjoy the car. Please post your mileage in the database!

Congratulations on your new car. Having just waited for mine to come in, I know how you must feel.
I will say that I have NOT noticed the 63 mile bug on mine (#105XX). I am doing about 110 miles/day on mostly the highway so maybe it is not noticable to me.
Either way, enjoy your car. I really am amazed at how much I like this car.

The clue is that if at exactly 63 miles it changes, even though you are at a steady speed, where it usually doesn't change. I don't have the issue with mine (#001055).

Not unusual for me to see anything from the high 30's to the low 60's, but usually sits around 50 mpg average most of the time. At the tank its always close to 48 mpg.

At 63 miles he was showing 34.3 MPG. That means he had used 63/34.3=1.837 gallons of gas.
At 64 miles he was showing 36.6 MPG. So after one more mile he had used 64/36.6=1.749 gallons.
Ever seen a gas tank fill up as you drive?
