Auto stop in cold climates
Hi All,
just a small update. The temperature is slowly droping here in Quebec and this morning, it was -16C (or 3F)! While it did take some time for the car to fully warm up (about 10-15 minutes), the auto stop feature did work!
After the motor was warm enough, it worked with a rate of about 90%. If the engine got colder, it wouldn't engage auto stop or it would engage it and then, restart the engine a few seconds later.
On a similar note, from my observation, auto stop will re-engage when 'creeping' with the traffic.
Thank you,
Stephane.
