Michael, I don't reboot over 40 MPH.
There are a few points where I'd like to reboot but I'm going downhill @ 55-60MPH.
In those cases I switch to N but keep her idling and do rev matching before reengagement..
If it were me I'd either keep it running or roll until 40 is reached, as long as it is safe.

Thanks for the reply, I think I'll take your advice and ball into neutral if the traffic behind me seems to be gas-happy that morning. If not: they can wait until I hit 40.

60K miles on mine and no issues of any kind. Also, friend of mine works at a honda delear (service manager) and he has yet to see a single CVT fail. Period. This includes the HX as well.
