Default According to Honda, my HCHII doesn't exist.

So I went to the Honda owners link website to create an account, and according to Honda my VIN is non-existant. Funny, it's the same one used to register the vehicle and get it insured.

I love corporations. They really do a great job. Thanks Honda, for providing a service that doesn't work, it's appreciated.

Jesus this crap tires me out, these things NEVER work how they're supposed to.

Honda owners link website only work for US HCH. If your HCH is Canadien or any other country, it won't work.

Sorry. I'm in the same situation.

Purchased in Sacramento CA. Unless the dealer sold me a non-US model without telling me, it's 100% American.

Problem solved, I was using a 5 instead of an S in the middle of the VIN #, who would have thought there'd be a letter in the middle of a big string of numbers.

Sorry Honda, you're OK =)

You're letting Honda off the hook too easily. VINs are defined so there's no ambiguity between letters and numbers. In a position that is meant to be a letter (like S) there will never be a digit (like 5). If their editing routine was smart enough they would tell you something like - "invalid letter entered in the 5th position".
