So, mesh grille behind the chrome logo, sporty coupe-like front skirt, and amber turn signals in the rear. The rear lip spoiler looks flattened except for the curl at the end.

On the other hand, check out the 4-door Honda Insight. Pretty cool!

Kinda looks like a Prius, no?

It looks a lot like the Prius. And why would Honda produce another 4-door compact hybrid that costs almost the same as the HCH? Unless they're planning to ditch the Civic Hybrid?

What about the CRZ? I thought that little 2-door hybrid, also due in 2010, was the Insight replacement.

My guess is the next generation Civic will move the car up into the mid-size class, since the Accird is now a full-size sedan. Look for a bigger and better equipped Civic next year!

Wow, I have always liked the Prius more than the HCH in terms of functionality. If I could get a "Honda Prius with IMA" for ~$20k, I might have to re-evaluate my plans to keep the HCH long term....

So the Clarity FCX chassis will be used for something else.

Maybe it's just called "Insight" but is really a new car. This from www.treehugger.com/files/2008/06/insight-honda-new-hybrid-car-2009.php
Honda's New Dedicated Hybrid Might be Called 'Insight'
Friday afternoon, time for the rumor-mill. Auto Observer has been reporting that Honda might revive the 'Insight' name for its upcoming dedicated hybrid model. After all, there is no negativity associated with that name - the first Insight hybrid was just a bit ahead of its time (back in the days of $20-30 barrels of oil), and a bit too quirky for mainstream tastes.
Possible Launch Dates for Honda's New Hybrid
More rumors claim that Honda will unveil this new 'Insight' at the Paris Auto Show in early October, or maybe at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, and then it will launch it officially at the Detroit Auto Show in January. We'll have to wait and see if the rumors turn out to be accurate.
