I purchased one yesterday to help with back strain on my Insight. Now I did not install batteries in it yet, but it does reduce the stress in my shoulders....

Thanks for the recommendation -- however, it seems like this pillow would just add even more lumbar cushion, pushing my lower back out even further. I want to "effectively" remove the lumbar.

That's what I mean. For a couple hundred bucks they'll shave some foam down and if it's not enough, they'll prob do a touch up for free.
