Post 2009 changes

This is per Sept. 08 Car and Driver mag. page 92.
New Grille, front bumper, taillight lenses, 3 spoke steering wheel, stability control, and a leather interior option.

I'm still waiting for my 2008, stability control would have been nice, I didn't use to think so till I got on on it on my Z3, On that car what a change no rubber burning and you have to try hard to lose it in the rain and ice. Yes I took it to Minn. for a ice-kanna (race on a frozen lake)

But I doubt I will ever hot rod this car, just FE.

That sounds like traction control, not stability control. Of course, your Z3 could have both, but the lack of burning rubber and improved wet traction would be benefits of traction control.

The Z3 has both traction and Stability control, The stability has steering angle sensor, wheel speed sensors and two accelerometers, for lateral and forward rate of speed. The traction is a by-product of the ABS sensors along with TPSM.
The computer controls engine speed, transmission, and individual braking on each wheel.
When I first got the car I turned it off, but it came on each time you started the car, then came the day I forgot to turn it off, some one cut me off and I yanked the wheel to change lanes quickly and the car just glided it's self in to the next lane with minimun correction required. So I expermented with lane changes found it was stability control helping. Havn't turned it off since, while driving normally.

Leather and heated seats tend to go together in Hondas.

Would you like to post pics of your car? I want to see the new grille, front bumper, taillight lenses, 3 spoke steering wheel.

I have steering wheel envy. The '08 ( and previous, I suppose) 2-spoker has the spokes in just the wrong place for me.

Curious about the new grille, link to pics is needed.

If that's all the "tweaking" they did, I guess I'll keep my old grille.

Still interested in the steering wheel...

My guess is that you will get the 3-spoke steering wheel that the car in the rest of the world (Jp, Au, Eu, and similar Cdn Acura CSX) comes with.

We also have had VSA (Honda's Vehicle Stability Assist & Traction Control) as standard and heated leather seats as an option from day 1.

Greetings from the Netherlands.

It looks as if they have moved the park brake?[ E.B.] That will be a big change, almost big enough to get me to trade? H
