Default 2007 HCH, had updates done. :)

Well I took my HCH in to the dealer for the upper control arms which they still honored with 68k on the car. They ended updoing 4 software updates while I was in there. The auto stop works flawlessly now. You can't even feel the car stop and start any more. The jarring and racing idle is all gone. Also, I used to get a recal every morning and every afternoon when leaving work. No longer does that anymore. I had the work done on Friday and took the car on a 500 mile trip on Sunday. It ran great, felt peppier, the battery gauge never went below half, and I averaged 42 mpg at 75-80 mph. I absolutely have no complaints at all with the my HCH now.
And a great thank you to Chris from Norm Reeves Honda in Huntington Beach. They even washed my car for me.

Sounds good. Those speeds are ridiculous. Slow down and save! Why the hurry?H

I should slow down and do my part for the enviroment. Especially considering I work for an enviromental consulting firm.

That's awesome! I still have some complaints about the hybrid system in my 2006 HCH...

Thanks for the info. We've had only one update, maybe within a year of our new purchase, part-and-parcel of a recall to better shield the IMA battery terminals. Nothing since. FWIW, we've not had surging idle (well not in a long while), and AutoStop seems ok. Recalibrations are infrequent, maybe once per week.

For now I figure if it's not Baroque..., but good to keep in mind: the updates are maybe not to bad.
