That is one sweet a$$ Hybrid. It must be nice to have money!

 

Wow! I don't know which was more stunning - the car, the fact they customized the hybrid as opposed to the standard, or that the Black Eyed Peas are actually having their tour sponsored by the Honda Civic.

It's not exactly the style I'd drive but it's a good-looking mod!

 

I'd like to now how the modded the bezel ring for the Alpine HU. That is exactly what I want.

 

Ick. I dislike pretty much everything except the head unit.

 

I'd like to have an unlimited budget to do some of those mods though.

 

"Beauty is", as they say, "in the eye of the beholder!" I am a grey man, blending into my environment, but it is certainly eye catching - though not my cup of tea. I do believe that Honda has a real winner on its hands and I noted the other day that overall Honda US sales are up about 9% while Toyota was somewhere near 3%

 

Personally I think it is a positive thing that these folks are customizing the car and promoting it (to whatever degree) on the tour.

A month ago there was a picture gallery of the "rides" of famous people -- athletes, musicians, etc. -- and almost without fail, each of their cars was gigantic. About 50% were customized Hummers, and the rest were customized giant SUVs (Suburban, Excursion, etc.).

So in light of that, the fact that they have customized their "ride", and it is a Honda Civic Hybrid -- pretty commendable, I'd say.

 

By the way, last year this "Honda Civic Tour" was done by the popular group "Maroon 5". For those interested, here is a picture of their 2005 HCH.



Gee, I wonder how much it would cost to have "coyote" stenciled on the side of my white 2005 HCH? ;-)
