I think I might skip that option of Navigation.

any links to further info on the NAV system? Is it really worth it? What does the screen look like, and is it nice and clear? I heard somewhere it was a bit hard to read due to glare.

there were a few pics of the interior on this board, but nothing up close. I guess we're gonna have to wait until the real thing comes out or atleast a brocheur.

Im thinking the Navi is NICE, but not a necessity. I think most ppl get it and rarely use it. might be a waste, but i need to think about it more.

Post Picture Of Nav. Screen

If any of you want to see a picture of the Nav. Screen just pick-up a 06 Honda Civic Brochure at any Honda Dealer and it shows the Nav. Screen up close and breaks it down into it's different functions and gives examples of each screen pic.

BTW; Forgot to mention that you can see the real (Nav. Unit Now) if you go to your Honda dealer and look at any of the 06 Civics with the Nav. option.

I've already seen it in person this past Sunday in a 06 EX CIVIC. I understand that this Nav. unit is the one that comes in the Acura Line. It is worth the money because it has alot of functions built into it when you also install the X/M option. It controls your Auto Climate Control, X/M, Radio functions etc. Very cool and it is Honda so it works. I've already had a couple in the Honda Accords and it is really cool. Before you say "NO" read up on what it is really capable of doing.

Look at a Navigation on the regular civic if you want to see how it works. I test drove one a few weeks ago with a Navi. It's pretty cool, but I'm not sure its worth it.

The MSRP was a little higher than I thought. I got an order in one with the Navi. I was hoping MSRP to be around $23K, not $24K. Assume a $500 delivery fee.

I just received a quote from a Dealer near Allentown, PA for
'06 HCH 4D 1.3 SOHC Continuously Variable Transmission $22,400 plus tax and tags.
From College Hills Honda: destination and handling charge is $550
$550+ $21,850 = $22,400. So your quote matches this (also Honda has now announced this price).
myndreach: collegehillshonda.com is just a dealer website (in CA?) that seems to have lots of info posted; the website has another name that I forget. Probably found it on vtec.net.

Well it's competitive. The Prius with navigation is something like $26,875 due to the other included accessories, and the nav itself costs $1800 IIRC. Honda's is just $1500.

In any case, nav is never cheap.
