'06 HCH in the Winter
I live near Toronto in Canada, and we're in the midst of the first major snow storm of the season (as is a lot of east coast, I hear). We're expecting around 25cm of snow (almost 10"). Somebody said it's the worst storm to hit the region in 30 years.
I'm just wondering how the '06 HCH owners are finding their cars' performance in this storm.
Thanks in advance, and be safe out there!

Re: '06 HCH in the Winter
Well,
I live in Montreal, so, like you, I will have lotsa experience with winter driving the HCH 2006. However, tomorrow, we are expecting 45cm of snow with 50-60kmh winds. Unfortunately, I will be working from home tomorrow, so, I won't be able to tell you how the car handles
Stephane.

Re: '06 HCH in the Winter
I live in Toronto and just took my '06 up Don Mills from Eglinton to Fairview Mall at Sheppard and Don Mills. The snow was pretty heavy on the ground, but the HCH handled it with no problems....much better than my RSX which has thicker tires. I think I saw American posters say that their cars have Dunlops. Mine has Bridgestone Insignias.

Re: '06 HCH in the Winter
I live in NH and we have already gone through 1 major storm and the car handled great... but I have an 03. I can't imagine the 06 doing worst. It's all about the tires. I have snows, if you don't then good luck. It's not about the car when snow enters the equation, it's the driver and then it's the tires.
