You also have heater mirrors if I am not mistake which we can't get here. Why don't they just make everything an options so you can pick and chose the things you like (and don't pay for the things you don't like).

I wish they would offer a few more options, as well.
Sometimes, you can order the parts necessary and "add-on" the option you want.
The reason Honda never has (and some other manufaturerers, too) is to streamline Production. Minimizes mistakes. And if a car is ordered, but then canceled, chances are it was JUST LIKE every other Civic EX. Easily sellable to someone else.
That's why manufacturers offer Packages, too.
It also makes it MUCH easier for dealerships. "You want a sunroof, hmm? You HAVE to get the EX for a sunroof.". KISS principle for the salesfolk also.
That's why I've been waiting on my HCH-II since Jan19th (with no end in sight, maybe late May).
I guess without that super Honda streamlined Production Line, I'd be waiting until the 2007 models were out .
