Would love to see one. I'm gonna check my local Honda dealers for the non-hybrid's tonight.

I had one dealer indicate approximately the 3rd week in October for the Hybrid or early December if you were to order one.

The hybrid "at the dealers" date at last check was October 5th. Maybe moving the others up moves the HCH up too.....

I was just at my Honda dealer today to get oil filters for my AH and saw a 2006 Civic EX and an Accord. The Civic was rated 30/40 MPG and the sticker was a little over $19,000. They were really busy for a Monday so I didn't wait for a test drive.

And the Civic Hybrid is rated at 50/50. My local dealer said he will not see any Civic Hybrids until almost December. He has a few pre ordered already.

I have e-mailed a couple of dealers about the hybrid and they either know nothing about them or they have literally two coming in in the entire month of October, in San Diego, CA. I think they'll be difficult to get at first. But the regular Civic uses the same body and interior (besides the obvious lack of IMA dashboard elements and maybe a couple of other minor details) so I plan to test-drive a regular Civic just to check out the basic feel of the car while I wait for the hybrid.
