Out of curiosity I checked autotrader for 05 Honda Civic Hybrids. A bunch of dealers within 300 miles of me (Oregon) have 05's with between 3000-20000 miles and are listing them (whom knows how much they would actually take) at between 18300-23000! Pretty good...granted these are dealers and trade-in would be quite a bit less....

 

Just for kicks, I looked up the bluebook value of my 2003 HCH. It was down to $9,500. I'm guessing that it's the mileage, not the age that really depreciates the car. I've driven 82,000 miles in three years! Not that I'm planning on parting with the best car I've ever driven...

 

My 03 is about $13K but I only have 34K miles on it. So it probably is the mileage.
