I am thinking about retrofitting a spare tire of some sort. the 2006 accords are comming with a spare right. May be I can get one of those and get rid of the tire sealer kit. I should be able to fit a small dounut there.

 

tere's a thread buried somewhere in here about the spare. You can order the spare now through the delaer- the part #s are listed in the thread. One of the pieces is a new cutout that fits the spare- replaces the current holder in teh trunk.

Or your idea might be less confusing to the dealer- just get an 06 spare.

Alternately, head to a junkyard and look for a late-year Accord to cannibalize. I think the previous few generation(pre-04) Accords used the same lug pattern, which is all that really matters for a donut spare.
