Default Recal on HAH

I believe my HAH just had a recal. After filling up the car, I started it and let it idle so that I could write down my mileage. As I was looking at the odometer, I noticed the charge indicator had a few bars. I looked over at the battery meter and there weren't any bars! I put the car in drive and went about a mile back to work. The whole time, the charge indicator was lit up. I had three bars on the battery meter by the time I got back to the office.

I've got 9,205 miles on my car now. Anyone else with an HAH and had a recal? At what mileage did it happen?

After I posted this, I found this link:

To answer gonavy's question about the temps, It's been fluctuating between low 40's to low 80's here in Phoenix lately. That could possibly be the cause of my recal.

I had 3, I think, over the year I had mine.

The first one was with < 5K mi on the car - it might have been < 1000 mi. I do remember the event - driving on the congested N. side of Chicago for extended period of stop-n-slow. I got on the expressway, and noticed I had nothing showing in the BAT meter, and the Charge lamps were on under engine load, about 1/4 - 1/3 of the way, IIRC. Lasted about 5-7 minutes, and the charge lamps decreased as the car got back to 'normal' SoC. I also seem to remember it charged up to a full 6 bars, that first time. It then proceeded to dump the 'excess' SoC by giving it back to me, until I was back at 4 bars (my 'normal')

The other two times were similar events, and none were close to one another, timewise. The first time, I didn't even know what a recal was - once I found out, I remembered it had happened to me. The second / third times confirmed that it had happened to me.

No recals so far in the '06 Civic - my normal SoC there is about 5/8 (I never get enough regen, the way I coast down, and the car *always* assists from a stop, unlike the Accord). However, on the test drive of the car I bought, I noted a forced charging event after a couple of long auto-stops. Took about the same amount of time to bring it up, again at highway speeds.
