Default MPG gone missing

I recently had my oil changed at a Valvoline Quick change place. When i got in the car to leave i noticed the MPG readout had disappeared. The servicer and the manager both insisted they in no way interfered with any electrical system.

None of the other electrical systems seem to be impaired. Anyone have any common experience or insight?

Two things, when was the last time you reset it? Was the trip meter also at 0 miles?

Try holding down the odometer reset button until it reappears. I tried to reset the mant' req. indicator by holding down the reset odometer button while the key is in II and I ended up doing that once or twice. If the headlamps are on you can't turn off the maint' req. indicator.
