Re: Help Please Lots of Help About Buying Honda Accord Hybrid 06
Well, I say, my HAH'07 with 98k miles does have long lasting problems that are not resolved yet.
It sometimes vibrates in IMA-assist mode. It does not have adequate assist for high torque demanding driving conditions. IMA-assist shuts off after 5-sec of use and for a long interval. The auto stop function stops after 5-10 minutes of stop-go traffic.
Plus I have already replaced transmission under the warranty (because of slipping).
The car is running but more unpleasant then when it was brand new.

And did anyone notice his candidate has 90000KM=~60oooo miles.
And if you haven't bought yet, mine's coming available, 07, nav, 43k miles, pearl white w/toyota warranty if interested. NO accidents either but one minor ding that will paintlessly smoothed.

Just sold my '06 HAH with 99,000 mi. Put a sign in the window and
parked it in a visible spot. 15 inquiries in 2 days....much better than
3 weeks on Craigslist. Nothing was wrong with that car. I just
bought an '07, for not much difference in price, with fewer miles.

I sold my '06 Charcoal for $12,000(99,000 mi) I bought my '07 White for
$15,700 (plus $1100 taxes/fees) with 42,000mi. (It had been a lease car, and sold through a used car dealer Nations Autos in Dallas, that buys/sells leased vehicles). Both cars have been solid as a rock, but I long wanted the white color, and now I have it. Neither had navigation....better without...then you can add a Garmin with bean bag on the dash....which is a better option.

Nice scrub off of 50k miles for only 2k...
So I should be able to get 13500-14500 for my 07 nav w/48k fairly easily ya think? Clean car/title shape but bumper covers were painted from crazes/dings n the plastic.
These HAHs seem to languish on ebay I've noticed.

Re: Help Please Lots of Help About Buying Honda Accord Hybrid 06
I put my '06 HAH on Craigslist for 3 weeks, had nothing but scam
artists calling me, saying they would be my "sales agent", and that they already had "3 very seriously interested potential buyers" for me...if I just paid them an agent fee by credit card.
Then my wife suggested that I place the car in a parking lot next to a busy street with a FOR SALE sign on each side. I did this, and I got 15 calls in one day, and someone came up with cash on the spot!

I just bought a certified 2006 HAH Pearl/Black Leather Navi 80,000KM's from Honda in BC for C $18K comes with warranty for another 1.5 years and 4 years of extended warranty for another C $1800. Only put 200KM's on it so far, and 50% tint all around and ordered the PCMCIA card for the slot in Navi system for music files. So far so good, I absolutely love it. Takes a little getting used to the IMA but all around nicest car I have ever owned. I'll post anything that comes up.
