My 2005 HAH has a nav system with the original DVD. I use voice directions rarely so I leave the setting OFF and occasionally press the VOICE button to hear an instruction.

Yesterday while driving the voice directions came on all the time. I can switch between the male and female voice, but cannot turn them off. Changing the voice setting from OFF to ON then back OFF did not help.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Haven't had that happen (yet) But when my GPS wouldn't update (show that I was moving) I reloaded the software from the DVD. W/ the ignition on, before pushing the Legal [OK] button, hold [Map/Guide] [Menu] [Cancel], select [version] then [download] This will take a few minutes, but did clear up my problem.
