That would be great. Perhaps start a new thread about that?

Yeah, old thread. Got bored and started reading through the old stuff.

So, the original poster, Kinger44, has his VIN saying he has car #88. If mine says 010610, does that mean I have #10,610? Don't really know how the numbering sequence works.

Question Re: Acceleration lag?

I have the same experience as Kinger44...a distinct pause for a fraction of a second before a smooth acceleration that's often more than I wanted because I've pushed the acceleration farther during the pause. I've been figuring I just need to get used to it. Should I really try to deal with it?

ditto here, mainly at low gears. Its annoying trying to accelerate out of a turn, and not getting anything until a second later. I don't feel that same lag at speed- trying to pass, etc- only when I've been coasting then reapply gas at low speed. Almost like the torque converter has to spin all the way back up and swirl the fluid again (thought that's not it).

Hmm- my dealer said there was no 'learning' with Hondas. Other makes do (FEH, I hear?) 'learn' acceleration habits and whatnot.

Besides, I have 11K miles on it...I'd like to think my car is not a 'differently abled' learner that has been prematurely mainstreamed because of social promotion pressures...
