Hi I was just wondering where and how I would change the engine air filter. There aren't any videos online for it. It doesn't mention it in the manual either, only the cabin air filter. Is the engine air filter unit the box behind the engine?

 

No mention of engine air filter in the 2014 and 2015 owners manuals. Strange!! Need to see if you can find the intake and follow it

 

I know isn't it strange!?!? I just hope its not one of those things that need to be serviced. An engine air filter is so easy to do yourself. I think the filter might be where I circled in the photo. Has anyone in this forum changed their own engine air filter on these hybrids??

WTF? Exhaust to the front? O2 sensor just right there up front and on top.

 

Yes, what's strange about that? Plenty of 4 cylinder front drive engines have their exhaust up front. 4 cylinder accords at least back into the late 80's, toyota corollas way on back, I think camrys too, the list goes on and on.

 

Just never seen it on a Honda. I've had 5 spanning the 70s 80s and 2000s with a few GM transverse 6s sprinkled in there.

 

Nobody has given step by step instructions for a 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid engine air filter replacement and I could not find anything on the web, so here it is. It is extremely easy to do.

1) Open the hood and locate the unit that holds the filter.



2) Unlatch the two clips.



3) Replace air filter.

 

Is there a Brand besides Honda I should buy on the Air filter? I have a 2014 Accord Hybrid
