When is the 2007 HCH due?

The word on the street is September. It doesn't mention anything new for the hybrid other than some potential new colors for the Civic in general.

I don't expect there to be any notable engineering differences between the 2007 and 2006 model. The 2006 was so successful, and still is (whether hybrid or not), that they wouldn't want to perform a major overhaul of the design. What has won awards, and is successful should last them at least a couple years. They want to make some money for their engineering efforts at this point.
Like the other poster, I do expect there to be more available colors. With HCH production supposedly coming to the US in the not too distant future, I expect availability to be better as well as more color options. They may make minor body/interior tweaks here and there to give it a slightly different air.. but the 2006 engine design is still very new. They aren't going to change production just yet.
I've had my 2006 HCH for just about 1 month now. I couldn't be happier with my decision. The car is amazingly easy to get great mileage out of. Has plenty of pickup and go and can handle hills very well. With my 4 cyclinder Subaru Forester I was going to the gas station twice a week, sometimes three. I now go once a week.. and the gas tank is smaller than the Forester by ~3 1/2 gals or so.
Best mileage was a 25 mile stretch, somewhat downhill.. and on windy back roads (steady driving, no stop signs, minimal traffic at ~40mph). 71mpg. My jaw dropped and my wife was in shock. Usual to work commute ~55-59mpg (highway some downhill), return ~45-48mpg (highway some uphill) . My full tanks are averaging around 47-48mpg.
I expect I could get better mileage if I went 55 rather than my usual 65.

I'd like to see them offer this Civic(available in Europe) in a Hybrid. The hatch back design makes a lot of sense. Not sure where they'd put the battery but I'm sure they can figure it out. Oh well, the Hybrid cops won't let me attach a pic or link.
