Since the wheel-well clearance is minimal in the HCH, you need to be careful.
The following are general concepts:
If the offset is different and the wheels are the same width and diameter, I'd certainly want to mount them (with tires) to ensure proper clearance. If you're not careful, the brakes, tie-rod ends, or the fenders could easily be damaged. If the wheels are wider than stock, then the offset may NEED to be slightly more (or less) to position the wheel properly so it (or the tire) does not scrub the inner parts or the fender. Consider suspension travel and front wheel steering (lock-to-lock) also, when trying them out.

Thanks Steve: I have the same track and lots of clearance, so I am OK. I would like to get a set of those stock wheels. I think they really set the HCH apart from the standard Civic
