I just had a price decrease here. Last weekend I put premium into my maxima at 3.07. The next fill will be around 2.80 into the new Civic.

A web site I really like to watch prices is

http://www.fuelgaugereport.com/

So when I think I am paying too much I lookup at the prices in California. It makes me feel better. Well just a little bit.

Fuel prices are really up in Chicagoland. The closest station to home (and one of my favorites) was @ $2.79!

I filled up $2.69 this am... then saw a station near work @ $2.62 - Murphy's law in action - fill up and the fuel prices will fall.

Here on Long Island, we are averaging about $2.89 a gallon for regular unleaded. Definitely been heading north over the past few weeks. Don't mind as much as a few months ago when I was filling up my truck every third or fourth day.

I think it's around $3.20 or so now in So. CA. Jeez, we're getting reamed.

Nashville, TN. $2.52 and rising. Here we go again.

I strongly suggest if you own a Hybrid, hang onto it. If you are thinking of purchasing one do it now while Interest rates and Hybrid prices are way down.
