Transmission noise and right wheel grinding
First off I am new to the forums. My 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid has just started making a very loud noise from what sounds like the transmission (my local Honda mechanic agreed), that is getting louder over time, for about 3 weeks. The tranny is not slipping and appears to be operating as it should. The noise is only present in drive, second, and low. I can only hear it at lower speeds, when I need more torque. My MPG have gone up and it appears as if the regular combustion and hybrid motor is trying harder. I replaced the transmission fluid, but it got a little louder. Also on a side note, I don't if it is possibly related, but when I brake from high speeds (I live in Germany) over a long distance or very quickly, the front right wheel bearing is making a grinding noise. I have also just replaced both front rotors and brake pads. My question is if this could possibly be related to the half shaft and/or the right axle/cv joints? Any thoughts of professional opinions would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Re: Transmission noise and right wheel grinding
Caveat to my OP. I forgot to mention that the noise that "is only present in drive, second, and low" starts as soon as I shift into gear. It is present wether I am moving or standing still. I don't know if that changes anything.
