Default Time for new tires?

Hey Guys

I believe it is time for my third set of tires 80k miles...first lasted about 20k. I am happy with the performance of the KUMO's kr21's...I have had the control arm work done under warranty.

The other day the car developed a major roar, and vibration. Like I said above the tires are ready for replacement. Would being down to the wear marks make the roar and vibs that quickly. It was like one day car smooth, the next day, the roar and vibs.

I just want to know if I should be looking at some other cause...by the way all the tire weights are still on each of the tires.

What do you all think?

Brian

You may want to have a look at Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max next go around! One of the best tread life, can be pumped to 51 lbs on good road conditions, roll like crazy, very quiet and comfortable. They also do well on snow and ice. I have tried Michelin Hydro Edge as well as the original Dunlaps and these tires are not in the same league. My FE is way up there since installing these tire. What a difference!!! H
