Question Sun shades large enough for HCHII windshield?

Has anyone found sun shades that will fit in the HCHII windshield? I live in Alabama, and use sun shades year round. With the new giant windshield, I need new shades, and don't know where I can find any that will fit!!

No. They seem to not be deep enough. I just use the steering wheel to hold it up.

I ordered mine from Covercraft online. They are expensive (like $50), but fit perfectly.
Go for it to protect your dash from cracking, and seats from fading.

Don't use one too small. The Owner's Manual explicitly states to not rest a sunshade between your two instrument panels. This can cause the upper one to overheat and fail.

I have an XL that I got from some autoparts store that works. Problem is, it's still huge after you fold it up!

I bought one at the dealership the day I picked my HCHII up. It's made specifically for the '06 Civic. The brand name is "Heat Shield."

I found one at Wal-Mart for about $8.00 . I use the sun visors to hold it up. It really helps. I don't have window tinting. The one a got is an "XL". Hope this helps.

We found one at Target (IIRC) for $10 or so. It was the largest one they had.

I got mine thru amazon.com, the shades are made by auto expressions (http://www.auto-expressions.net/), jumbo size. They "fold" up to about the size of a dinner plate and fit nicely in the pocket on the back of the front seats.

i got mine from Autosport Catalog, here's the link:

http://www.autosportcatalog.com/inde...d=277&addcar=1

they also have a cheaper one:

http://www.autosportcatalog.com/index.cfm?fa=p&pid=331

It's a bit pricey but it's well worth it. Fit's like a glove under the window. The only problem is that it feels like it's made of a really hard cardboard, so when i fold it up (accordian style) it's fit's best in the trunk.

Has anyone tried the accordion style shades? My dealer sells one... it attaches to the A-pillar and slides out across the glass... then attaches to an anchor point on the other A-pillar.

I wonder about... ease of use, obstruction of vision, vibration (noise) while driving and (most important) possible obstruction of air bag function.

If the above issues have satisfactory answers, the concept and price for this product seem pretty attractive!
